Ways to Serve Others This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, and we can’t wait! This whole season is such a special time of love, cherishment, and celebrating the miraculous birth of Jesus. While we are so grateful for our family and church, there are some people that don’t have those things, and this time of year could be very difficult. We want to equip you with some ways you can come alongside others this season and serve them:

1. Donate food

There are several places you can donate food to and serve people at this Thanksgiving. Check out The Kitchen of Clay County and Food Pantry to serve people in our city this holiday season!

2. Invite someone to your Thanksgiving meal

If you know of a friend or family who don’t have anywhere to go for the holiday, invite them to join you! This could mean a lot to someone who might feel alone during this season.

3. Invite them to church

We would love to come alongside those in our community who are hurting or feeling alone. Invite them to church, connect them to a small group, and pray with them. The simplest of acts can change someone’s life.
