5 Labor Day Weekend Activites in Green Cove Springs

Labor weekend is almost here! That means we have a long weekend coming up! I can hear the cheering from the other side of the screen. If you’re wanting to do one last fun summer activity with your family, but aren’t sure what to do, we’ve got you covered. Check out these 5 Labor Day activities for you and the family:

1. Head to the Beach

This is a perfect weekend to go to the beach. This weekend is looking to be low 90s/high 80s which makes for perfect beach weather. Take the family down to your favorite beach and build some sandcastles to wrap up summer!

2. Picnic in the Park

There are some beautiful parks in Green Cove Springs. Pack up your favorite lunch, snacks, and outdoor blanket and head over to Spring Park for a picnic with your family. Spring park is right on the St. Johns River, so you’ll have a nice view with your lunch. Don’t forget to bring your frisbee!

3. RunJax Labor Day 5k

4. At Home Water Park

It’s time to break out the sprinklers, the slip n’ slide, and the water guns! Enjoy Labor Day weekend with your own at home water park day. This is a super easy and fun activity that will be sure to have everyone sleeping well that night.
